Joan's interest in real estate began many years ago when she began investing in land and rental property in the Pocono Mountains near her native NJ. On a trip to purchase property for retirement in SC, Joan was offered a job working for the developer of a new community in Bluffton, SC, outside Hilton Head Island. Today Joan specializes in working with buyers looking for retirement homes. As a resident of Sun City Hilton Head, she is recognized as an expert in the 55+ market. Her strengths include paying close attention to the wants and desires of her clients and finding the best home at the best price for them. She knows the new construction and resale markets throughout Bluffton thus enabling buyers to make a decision that best meets their needs. Education and staying current on what is happening in the local real estate market is of paramount importance to Joan. She regularly takes classes and obtains certifications to better serve her clients. Joan has the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation as well as Accredited Buyer Representative, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification and her Green designation from the National Association of Realtors. She also is the recipient of the Realtor Service Award in 2009 and 2010 recognizing service to the community of greater Hilton Head Island.
